The museum sits near the site of the Texas and New Orleans Railroad tracks that ceased running through Mabank in the 1970s. Along with the model trains, museum owner Roger Barker presents railroad memorabilia dating back to the 1800s and toy trains and equipment for gift purchases. The museum site resembles an authentic train station and platform. Stop by Jalopy Joe’s Gourmet Popcorn to pick up some delicious popcorn and handmade candy treats to take with you.
